Job Title:Electrical Engineer

Location:Remote

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in solar commercial and industrial projects ranging from 50kW to 1MW. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing single and three-line diagrams and be proficient with AutoCAD. You will play a crucial role in the design and development of small to mid-scale solar projects, ensuring efficient and code-compliant electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop single-line and three-line diagrams for solar C&I projects.

  • Utilize AutoCAD to create and update project electrical designs.

  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards, local electrical codes, and project specifications.

  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Perform electrical calculations and analyses for power distribution, equipment sizing, and system efficiency.

  • Assist with technical documentation, submittals, and client communications throughout project development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience in designing single-line and three-line diagrams.

  • Experience in solar C&I projects ranging from 50kW to 1MW.

  • Familiarity with relevant electrical codes (e.g., NEC).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate complex concepts clearly.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of electrical systems design for solar PV installations.

  • Experience with software tools such as PVSyst, Helioscope, or similar.

  • Hands-on experience with electrical equipment used in solar systems (inverters, transformers, switchgear, etc.).
