Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivatedTransmission Engineerwith experience in utility-scale solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing interconnection processes, performing power studies, and collaborating with utilities to ensure seamless project execution. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering and a proactive approach to solving complex challenges in renewable energy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and analyze power studies using PSSE to optimize system performance.
Collaborate with utilities and regulatory bodies to facilitate interconnection agreements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Provide technical expertise in the design, review, and implementation of utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects.
Utilize tools like AutoCAD and PvSyst for system modeling, layout optimization, and design verification.
Support project teams with technical documentation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance project performance and reliability.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
Minimum 1-2 years of experience working on utility-scale solar PV or BESS projects.
Proficient in power systems studies and analysis using PSSE.
Experience working with utilities on interconnection requirements and processes.
Preferred experience with AutoCAD and PvSyst for system design and modeling.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Excellent communication skills to interface with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
