This role as a Project Engineer is crucial for overseeing complex solar PV projects from design through implementation. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with solar project sites, handling interactions with 3rd-party Engineers of Record (EOR), EPC contractors, developers, and utilities. A strong background in AutoCAD is essential for this position, as well as a solid engineering foundation. The position requires a proactive individual who excels in a collaborative environment, ensuring project quality, timelines, and technical precision.

The Ideal Candidate Should Have The Following

  • At least 4 years of experience working on solar PV or BESS projects

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with a proven ability to develop detailed electrical and layout drawings for solar PV systems

  • Preferred experience working in Helioscope or PVSyst for shading models

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with 3rd-party Engineers of Record (EORs), EPC contractors, developers, and utilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards

  • Hands-on experience conducting site evaluations and managing technical aspects of solar project sites, including system installation, quality control, and troubleshooting

  • Ability to manage project timelines and budgets, track engineering deliverables and coordinate with cross-functional teams

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline)
