We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Engineer to join their team in Kansas City. This critical role will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of commercial solar projects. The Field Engineer will be responsible for on-site project oversight, quality control, and problem-solving, working closely with project managers and construction teams. The ideal candidate should have the following:
2-4 years of experience working on commercial solar projects, including ground-mount and rooftop systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, including the ability to review and interpret site plans, single-line diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant industry standards related to solar PV installations.
Strong field experience and the ability to identify and troubleshoot errors in project execution, including mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.
Knowledge of various solar PV module and inverter technologies, including their performance characteristics and installation requirements.
Engineering degree preferred, ideally in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
