Job Description:Electrical/Electronics Technician (Solar) – Contract Role
Location:Greater Phoenix Area (Travel to sites)
Estimated Hours:40 hours weekly

We are seeking a dynamicElectrical/Electronics Technicianto support our client's Solar projects, focusing on testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting electronic equipment. This contract role combines hands-on work in the plant with some travel to project sites, offering a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about electrical systems and renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct various tests on electronic equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Collaborate with installation teams, providing training on best practices for equipment installation.
Verify installation quality (Golden Row) and perform start-up and commissioning for new systems.
Inspect wiring, connections, and mechanical components for accuracy and reliability.
Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical issues, both onsite and remotely.
Document findings, write detailed reports, and track system performance and efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
2-year technical degree or associate degree (preferred).
Experience:
2+ years in a related field (solar module experience is a bonus but not required).
Technical Skills:
Understanding of basic electromechanical concepts.
Proficiency with industry-specific tools (pliers, testers, crimps, etc.).
Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Proven ability to work independently and in team settings.
Travel and Working Conditions:
Travel is required for field service work, with potential extended stays at project sites.
Outdoor work in various weather conditions, ranging from high heat to snow, wind, and rain.
When not traveling, work will be performed at our Phoenix facility.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform mechanical and electrical tasks safely and efficiently.
