Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and driven Development Engineer with a strong foundation in electrical engineering and specialized expertise in solar design. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing electrical design diagrams for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, utilizing advanced software to ensure efficiency and precision throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Design & Development:
Design and develop detailed electrical diagrams and layouts for solar PV projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and safety regulations.
Project Modeling & Analysis:
Use advanced solar modeling tools, including PVSyst, PVCase, CYMCAP Analysis, and System Advisory Model (SAM) Scripting, to conduct detailed project analyses that optimize solar system performance and reliability.
Solar PV System Engineering:
Lead the technical design and engineering processes for solar PV systems, supporting everything from feasibility studies and system sizing to technical specifications and performance assessments.
Technical Documentation:
Create and maintain technical documentation, including electrical drawings, bill of materials (BOM), project reports, and system performance evaluations to ensure clear and organized project management.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
Work with cross-functional teams, including project managers and field teams, to align technical requirements, support project implementation, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during construction and commissioning.

Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in solar design and analysis tools, such as PVSyst, PVCase, and CYMCAP with a strong understanding of solar PV project planning.
Educational Background:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with knowledge of power systems and renewable energy design principles.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication for cross-functional teamwork, and a commitment to quality and safety in design and execution.
