Solar Construction Manager

Location:Arkansas

Travel:~25% to project sites across Arkansas

About the Role:

A rapidly growing solar construction company is seeking a Solar Construction Manager to oversee and support full-time solar construction operations. This role requires a strong background in solar project management, EPC coordination, and construction fieldwork. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with subcontractors, managing multiple project timelines, and ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee solar construction projects from pre-construction through completion.

  • Manage and coordinate with EPCs, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.

  • Utilize AutoCAD, Helioscope, and PVSyst for design and project evaluation.

  • Ensure projects meet quality, budget, and schedule expectations.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including subcontractors and internal leadership.

  • Conduct site visits (~25% travel) to oversee progress and resolve on-site challenges.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Helioscope, and PVSyst for solar design and analysis.

  • Experience managing EPCs and subcontractors in a solar construction environment.

  • Hands-on field experience in solar construction, with a deep understanding of site work.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, growing company with multiple stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with the Arkansas solar market and key industry players.

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid or Remote (Must be able to travel to Arkansas project sites as needed).
